Hello world

Sunday i was back shooting for the @DKHLegacyTrust at a Backing Talent Event At University Kent, Canterbury Campus. I have been working with the Trust on and off for around a year. Around 100 young Athletes came from all over Kent for a day of coaching and mentoring run by Dame Kelly Holmes, and her select team of Olympians, World champions and athletes aiming for 2012, Including Sarah Winckless (rowing), Pippa Wilson(sailing), Adam Whitehead(swimming) and Tyrone Swaray(Athletics).

Along side the Coaching there was also workshops in Nutrition, Communicating/Media and sport Psychology.

It was a busy day of shooting, set off at 5:30am for a 8am start in Canterbury. Had a quick briefing when i got to the sports hall, as had shoot other events with the trust, had a good idea of what to expect, my kit for the day was two bodies my 1Ds Mk III with 70-200mm F2.8 and my trusty 50D with 17-40mm with my 580EX and a battery pack aswell as two off camera flashes. The light in the sport hall wasn’t the greatest with patchy spots, and high ceilings so the two external flashes really helped to bring up the ambient then used on camera flash as fill.
Finished off shooting around 6pm, got home at around 9ish then got on with some editing. As ever always good working with the trust, and look forward to the next event.
